Music is everywhere: in the car, at home, even in the office. In fact, music is an integral part of culture in the workplace of many companies. One such company is the Mayor of location-based service providers foursquare, which calls both New York City and San Francisco home—and rocks Sonos in both locations. We visited both offices to see how music plays a part in everyday life at foursquare and discovered that there seems to be a “hipster algorithm” at play.
