New features for Sonos Controller for Android

Posted on July 20th, 2011 by Sonos Staff in News, Products

Amidst all the excitement over Sonos’s latest all-in-one player, the PLAY:3, you may have missed another announcement today. Never one to overlook the software side, we’re happy to also offer an update to the Sonos Controller for Android, which is available immediately.

Sonos Software v3.5 adds several improvements, including localization in a variety of languages (specifically: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Swedish). Even better, the Sonos Controller now offers the option to install the app to SD cards, allowing you to free up space on your device’s internal memory.

Hi Willem – Seems like it didn’t quite make it. Try a full removal and then reinstall. If that doesn’t do the trick, please let us know!

Nice, and finally I can use it in my honeycomb tablet, although it doesn’t make use of the extra resolution.
