The Sonos Studio has been collaborating with artists over the last 8 months to create some iconic music culture moments in L.A. In November, we reminisced with Sonos collaborator Janelle Monáe about how exciting the last year had been, and about her artist collective, the Wondaland Arts Society.
As part of Grammy Week in LA, Sonos once again joined with the indelible Janelle Monáe and the Wondaland crew for a showcase filled with unforgettable music and memories. Last night, Janelle Monáe transformed the Studio into a Wondaland West with performances featuring Deep Cotton, Roman GianArthur and other special guests.
The group made their way to LA from their home in Atlanta with our friends from Fader, who tracked their stories and experiences along the way with a unique video series. Watch the video series here.
The Sonos Studio will continue its LA Music Week event series with a variety of original programming, from – a producer workshop with GRAMMY nominated producer Tommy Trash, an Aquarium Drunkard curated showcase featuring the Allah-lahs + Takashi Miyaki. Visit sonos.com/studio to sign-up for e-mail invites to these events and updates from the studio.
Don’t forget to check back next week to get an inside peak at the Wondaland Crew’s trek from Atlanta to LA with Fader.
