BeethovenOn December 12, 1792, Ludwig van Beethoven received his first music lesson from renowned composer Joseph Haydn. They initially met almost two years earlier when Haydn, travelling from Vienna, stopped in Bonn on his way to perform in London. When Haydn saw Beethoven again on his return journey, he was so impressed with the young composer’s work that he invited him to become his pupil.

Today’s playlist celebrates the music of Beethoven, his teachers, and his musical contemporaries. Have a listen.

How do you add a track to it?

Hi Richard – In order to add a song, you’ll need to open the Spotify desktop app and subscribe to the playlist. Then, search for the song, and drag-and-drop it over to the playlist, which should now show up in the left side of the window. Hope this helps!
