You might have noticed this already, but we’re kind of obsessed with music around here. And we’re willing to bet if you’ve got a Sonos rocking your household, you have more than just a passing interest in it as well. Luckily, we can all blame our body chemistry for this invigorating addiction. A study by scientists at McGill University found that listening to the music we love stimulates our brain to release dopamine, otherwise known as the pleasure chemical. Color us unsurprised.
